Designed for 18-20 hands-on students and 6-8 spectators, each class celebrates local flavors and seasonal ingredients.

Customized Private
Cooking Classes

Each private cooking class is crafted to suit your group’s unique tastes and preferences. Sibby works closely with you to create a menu that reflects your culinary interests—be it classic Texas barbecue, farm-fresh vegetarian dishes, or a globally inspired feast.

Sibby’s hands-on cooking lessons adapt to the skill level of everyone in the group. From novice cooks to seasoned foodies, Sibby ensures that every participant gains new techniques, flavorful recipes, and unforgettable memories. You’ll leave not only with a satisfied appetite but also with newfound skills and inspiration to bring these dishes to life in your own kitchen.

Do I need to pay a deposit for private classes?

Yes. A $300 deposit is required to reserve a Private Cooking Class. The balance is due 14 days (two weeks) before the date of your class.

If you need to cancel on this date, (14 days ahead) or prior to this date, half of your deposit can be returned ($150). Half is forfeited. If you would like to hold the entire deposit for a rescheduling, we can do so. 13 days in advance or less, if cancelled, the entire deposit ($300) is forfeited.

Public Cooking Classes

When you sign up as a hands on student, you will participate in preparing the menu. Everyone, hands on students and spectators all dine together at the end of class. For most public venues you may bring your own alcohol. If alcohol is provided at a specific location, it will be noted in the class description. Glasses, water and ice are provided. Depending on the menu, typically there are 18-20 hands-on students and 6-8 spectators. The cooking events typically run approximately 4 hours including dining time.

What is the cancellation policy for public classes?

If you need to cancel, please cancel 14 days in advance for a full refund, less a $35 cancellation fee or you may have a full value credit to use for another class. For less than 14 day, no refund is available.
